Phase 2 - Day 11

The eleventh day at St. Mary's High School was a productive and fulfilling one, filled with preparation, active teaching, and positive feedback. The first three hours provided me with valuable time to focus on enhancing my teaching materials. I dedicated the periods to writing new lesson plans and creating slide presentations for the upcoming days, ensuring that I was well-prepared to deliver engaging and effective lessons to the students. During third hour I had class on 8G1 and I taught them about bisectors. I gave them 4 different activity cards to taught the concept. And also I could completed my 11th lesson plan successfully  Reflecting on the eleventh day, it became evident that careful planning, engaging teaching methods, and positive reinforcement played vital roles in creating a conducive learning environment. Phase -2, Day 10

It was the 10 th day of teaching practice at St. Mary's HSS Pattom. I reached school on time. Today, I have class at 4th period in 8 G1. I reached my class on time. Today I said a motivational story to my children. NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION. I taught them some more problems related to isosceles triangle. They actively participated in my class. I could completed my 10th lesson plan successfully 🩷 The tenth day of my internship at St. Mary's HSS Pattom highlighted the importance of seizing opportunities, engaging in proactive preparation, and embracing unforeseen responsibilities. By utilizing my free periods for productive activities, such as class preparation and self-care, and actively participating in substitution classes and line duty, I furthered my growth as an educator. Each experience served as a stepping stone toward becoming a more competent and dedicated teacher, eager to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Phase 2 - Day 8

  It was the last day of this week. I reached school at 8.45 in the morning. I have line duty in front of St. Joseph's block. After complete the duty, I signed my attendance book and reached my allotted space. I have class at tgird period. So, I prepared for my classes. At the interval, some students visit me to clear their doubts. I helped them. 4th peeiod 8G1 is free. So, I took them substitution. And played them a mathematical puzzle section. Its really interesting. In 3rd period I have clasa at 8G1. I reached the class on the I motivated students about the importance of education. They listen carefully. After that I gave them an activity card to check previous knowledge anf select the winner group. Today I taught the 2-3 problems on the topic *ONE SIDE AND TWO ANGLES*. They could do the problems independently. I felt happy to see their confidence. But,still some students have little confusion. I considered them too. I taught them very calmly and describe in very simple language

Phase2- Day 7

 Today I reached school at 8.45 in the morning. After signed my attendance, I reached our allotted space. Today I have no classes in morning. So, I do some work formy next class like activity card making, correcting notebooks of my 8G1 students, completing my lesson plans and also I prepared for my next class too. There is a special program conducted at school *PROJECT VENDA*. All hogh school classes are selectef for the program. It is an Anti drug program. After lunch break, I prepared for today's class. 6th period I had class at 8G1. Today my college mate Poornima from Natural Science optional accompanied with me to the part of peer observation. She gave instructions and suggestions of my class. Then, I gave my students to an activity to check their previous knowledge. They actively do the activity and I gave them tally marks. In my last class I gave an assignment. So, today I checked it and gave corrections. Igave them more problems related to the topic ONE SIDE AND TWO ANGLES.

  Today, 19th June we are celebrating the National Reading Day to honour Shri. P.N. Panicker sir. This celebration of reading began in1996. We are observing this great day by rejoicing, learning, imbibing, and celebrating the habit of reading.  Shri. Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker is known as the father of the library movement in Kerala. He expired on 19th June 1995, after which in 1996, National Reading Day was celebrated as a tribute to the legend.  Wish all dear Teachers  and students a very happy National Reading Day❤️🙏 As usual today I reached school at 8.45 in the morning . After signing the morning attendance , I went for the line duty infront of cardinal cleimsis block. Today was the inauguration of silver jubilee celebrations of St Mary's higher secondary section and reading day .  Today sixth period I had class on 8 G1 and I taught them about Equal Triangle . Successfully completed today's duty. 

Phase 2- Day3

There was a cake cutting ceremony on behalf of the birthday of Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop - Catholics patron and manager. There was special prayer section too. In 2nd period I just visit Prejith's Malayalam class at 9 K. Actually, He was blind. And, I really shocked in his class.... What a superb class it was. He make the class more interesting. And very well managed class. His way of teaching amazing. Really nice class and sound modulation, gusters, movement, students participation... Everything is perfect. In 3rd period I went to my 8 G1 to taught Mathematics. Today I took new topic "Two sides and an Angle " using many activities to make the class interesting. I could completed ny 3rd lesson plan successfully 💖💖

Phase 2- Day 2

 It's my second day at St. Mary's HSS Pattom. I reached school at 8.45 am. After prayer song and pledge I prepared for today's class. There are so many substitutions here because many teachers transferred from here. I also got a substitution class at 5 R. I played them with short mathematics quiz. All are actively respond with me. Small little one's enjoy the session lot. I too enjoy it. Today I had class in period 6th in class 8G1. I went to the class and taught the students. I was really happy because all my students actively participated in my class. I could completed my second lesson plan today. Today I continued my topic sides and angles. First of all I check the assignment that I gave last day and also check their previous knowledge by gave an activity.

Phase2- Day 1

I started my school practice life with a lot of excitement. It was the first day in St. Mary's HSS, Pattom. We all 29 student teachers of different optionals got to school at 8.45 am. We started our first day with prayer. After the prayer there was a pledge on the topic Dengue. After that Head mistress, Rani M Alex gave us instructions which we should follow. Teacher arranged a place for us in auditorium. In the morning hour I was getting ready for class in 8 G1. My concern teacher is Asha John. Teacher is very supportive. Today I had class in period 5th in 8G1. I went to the class and taught the students. I was very happy because the students actively participated in my class. I could completed my first lesson plan. I entered the class, greeted the students and started the class with silent prayer. My concern teacher Asha John accompanied with me to observe my first class. There were total of 35 students. But, only 27attended today, all are girls. I started my class by introducing
